Once a deficiency is completed, or if it is no longer relevant to the workflow of deficiencies, you can use the "Archived" status to categorize the deficiency and move it in to a separate folder to clear from your Punch List.
When a deficiency is set to "Archived" it will be hidden from the Punch List and removed from the Dashboard analytics. This can help simplify your Punch List and keep the system running smoothly with excess/irrelevant deficiencies removed. This status also allows you to remove deficiencies from view without permanently deleting them.
In order to archive a deficiency, simply following the below steps:
- On the Punch List, navigate to the deficiency you're updating and then scroll to the Status column.
- Click on the Status bubble to open the dropdown menu. Select "Archived" from the options.
You can also archive deficiencies in bulk by doing the following steps:
- Select the checkboxes of applicable deficiencies (will highlight blue when selected)
- In the Actions menu, select Bulk Update Deficiencies. Then select Status from the dropdown menu and "Archived" from the New Value dropdown menu and then click "Update Deficiencies"
The Punch List can be filtered to Hide the archived deficiencies or show only the archived deficiencies by using the toggles at the top of the page.
A deficiency can be changed from Archived if needed by updating the status back to an In Progress status.
