Adding Trade and Installation Location Information

After logging in to your admin account, you can fill out the trade and installation location for each selection on the “Construction” page. Navigate to the "Selection Descriptors" tab to make changes. This information is used on the door sheets for your construction team. 

You can double click the trade listed, and edit each one directly. Alternatively, you can export the table as an excel spreadsheet, make changes, then import. Make sure to leave the column layout and headers as is. Don't forget to click "Save Changes" when you're done.

Multiple trades can be added to an item using a comma-separated list. If your Construction Scheme document is sorted by trade, these items will be duplicated so that each trade sees.

By default, all materials in a selection will have the same Construction Trade that's specified on the "Selection Descriptors" tab. If there are materials installed by different trades within one selection, you can specify the Construction Trade on the material level. For example, tile backsplashes, and slab backsplashes may have different trades (Tile and Quartz shown below) but are listed under the same backsplash selection.

The Construction Scheme PDF can be displayed 2 ways:

• Tables are sorted by the Construction Trade and the Construction Installation Location is a column in each table. If a selection has multiple trades specified, the material will be listed under each trade table. This is the default layout.

• Tables are sorted by the Construction Installation Location and the Construction Trade is a column in each table. If a selection has multiple locations specified, the material will be listed under each location table. Your TIA Project Manager can switch to this layout if preferred.

To view the changes you've made, navigate to the "Unit Summary" page and click the COMPLETE status button to filter the unit list. Click a unit to open the dropdown options. On the "Notes & Attachments" tab, click the "Re-generate Agreement" button to view a new version of the Agreement and Construction Scheme PDF files and void the old version.

If you don't have any COMPLETE units yet, you can go through a test unit to generate the Agreement and Construction Scheme PDF files.
